Happy Thanksgiving . . .

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!  Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-7

I give thanks for all of you and pray that you will have a wonderful thanksgiving day. I am taking the day off from writing, and will be busily baking bread and pie, roasting turkey and vegetables, and playing with children. I know you will all be busy too, and that Christmas is just around the corner, yet I wonder if any of you have a minute, would you share your favorite holiday recipes with me?
