“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.” John 14:1-7
Just wanted to share one of my favorite passages with you as I head out on vacation. I love the peace and assurance Jesus gives the disciples, even as they are scratching their heads, wondering what Jesus is talking about! Where is He going? How do they know the way?
I am super excited to be heading to Paris, even though I am terrible at directions and map reading. Tomorrow I will board a plane and follow instructions, knowing that my guide is super adept at directions and map reading. I expect great things because I trust my guide.
Jesus is the way! He is all you need. May you take solace in Him this day, and expect great things for the future.
Back in two weeks with tales of France and perhaps a French recipe or two.

Have a wonderful time!! I’m so glad you get to go.
I hope you have a wonderful trip! May you feel the peace and presence of the Lord during your travels.
Looking forward to the new recipes. 🙂
