And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.” Genesis 2:1-3
I’m taking a week to rest and relax, to visit relatives and restore my soul in the beauty of God’s creation in the great state of Maine! May you find peace and rest and joy in the Lord this day. Take a moment to look around and acknowledge the Creator who made you and also gave us the mandate and the model of resting.
